03. August 2012 Connecting Minds
FINRISK and the Swiss Finance Institute are pleased to announce their new joint initiative: Connecting Minds. Starting in September 2012, Connecting Minds will assemble top-caliber speakers from academia, as well as leading industry representatives and policymakers, in a series of panel debates on finance topics both timely and timeless.
02. August 2012 Call for New Research Projects within SFI
The Swiss Finance Institute is launching its first research program in financial economics for the years 2013 - 2016. Any faculty member affiliated with a Swiss University is kindly invited to submit a proposal for a new research project. Deadline for submission: September 15, 2012.

06. June 2012 New Research Funding Structure through Swiss Finance Institute as of 2012/13
The SNSF funding for FINRISK will end in 2012. There will be an additional final year for the phasing-out of the existing FINRISK projects until October 31, 2013. The FINRISK research program is a bridge towards a structural research funding platform that the State Secretariat for Education and Research has decided to finance by means of a subsidy that will flow directly through the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI) as of 2012.
